!Las Ligas Menores ya están listas para tocar en el Coachella 2017!
La banda argentina de indie rock, fue convocada para tocar en uno de los festivales más prestigiosos de Estados Unidos, el Festival Coachella 2017.
Goldenvoice, la productora organizadora, añadió recientemente a la banda al lineup definitivo.
Se estarán presentando los días 15 y 22 de abril en el escenario Sonora, el nuevo escenario del festival Coachella. En estos días, las jornadas van a ser encabezadas por Lady Gaga y también tocarán bandas como Bon Iver, Future y Car Seat Headrest. En esta edición del festival también se presentarán Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, The XX, Mac Demarco, Guided By Voices, entre otras. La banda sigue de gira por las ciudades de Los Angeles, Fullerton, Pomona y Riverside entre los días 17 y 20 de Abril.Las Ligas Menores es una banda formada en Agosto de 2011 en Buenos Aires, Argentina, por Anabella Cartolano en la guitarra y voces, Pablo Kemper también en la guitarra y voces, Maria Zamtlejfer en el bajo y voces, Nina Carrara en los teclados y Micaela Garcia en la batería. Su sonido tiene fuerte influencias de grupos de rock alternativos / indie de los últimos 30 años como Weezer, Galaxie 500, Guided by Voices y Pixies.
La banda hace parte del sello y colectivo independiente Laptra y son la única argentina en participar en esta edición del festival. Otros artistas argentinos que han participado del festival fueron Babasónicos, Bajofondo Tango Club, y Juana Molina.
Las Ligas Menores estarán presentando las canciones de su último simple "Ni una canción", adelanto de lo que será su segundo disco de estudio, así como las canciones de su disco homónimo publicado en 2014.

LAS LIGAS MENORES ARE READY TO PLAY AT COACHELLA 2017!
Las Ligas Menores, the indie rock band from Argentina, will be performing at one of the most important festivals in the United States, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Goldenvoice, producer of the festival, recently added the band to the final lineup.
They will be performing Saturday April 15 and 22 at Sonora stage. The line-up for those days will be headlined by Lady Gaga, and also features other bands like Bon Iver, Future and Car Seat Headrest. Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, The XX, Mac Demarco, Guided By Voices will also be part of this edition. They will also be touring the cities of Los Angeles, Fullerton, Pomona and Riverside on April 17 through April 20th.
Las Ligas Menores is a band formed in August 2011, in Buenos Aires, Argentina and features Anabella Cartolano on guitar/vox, Pablo Kemper on guitar/vox, Maria Zamtlejfer on bass/vox, Nina Carrara on keys and Micaela Garcia on drums. Their sound is similar to that of alternative/indie rock groups of the last 30 years such as Weezer, Galaxie 500, Guided by Voices and Pixies, and it is best recognized for their attractive melodies.
The band belongs to Laptra, an Argentinian independent label and it is the only band from Argentina playing at the festival. Other Argentinian artists that played in past editions of the festival were Babasónicos, Bajofondo Tango Club and Juana Molina.
Las Ligas Menores will be presenting “Ni Una Canción”, their recently released single, a preview of what will be their second LP to be released in 2017, and they will be playing songs from their LP from 2014.
